IDE

The editor

A full editor with the assistant built in, for the times you want to write the code yourself and hand over the parts you do not.

isEmail is used in three places. Two pass user input directly; one passes an already-normalised value.

What it does

Editor and agent together

Write the code yourself, or hand the task over — without leaving the file you are in or opening a second window.

Context from where you are

The file you have open, your selection, and the surrounding module are what the agent reasons about. You do not have to explain which part of the codebase you mean.

Shared with the other tools

The same session and the same provider settings as the TUI and GUI. Starting work in the editor does not mean starting over.

Built for reading code

Navigation, definitions, references, and a diff view — the parts of an editor that matter when the code is not all written by you.

Where this is

The IDE is the least developed of the four tools and is the one we are building next. If you want to use the assistant today, the TUI is where it works best.
